IMPA Test Days enters the next stage of its evolution with the move this year to Monticello Motor Club in Monticello, NY for the Wednesday and Thursday, September 21-22 program. Test Days is a two-day event providing members the opportunity to sample a broad number of vehicles in a variety of venues.

The Village of Monticello is located in the Catskill Mountains region of the state. The weather during September can range from the low 60s to the mid 70s. Check the weather reports and come prepared for two full days outdoors.
Wednesday, day one at Monticello Motor Club, members will have the opportunity to put a variety of four-wheel drive vehicles through their paces off-road along the wooded outskirts of the facility.
While some members enjoy off-roading, others will find a variety of cars and trucks available for touring through the beautiful hills in the region. Thursday, day two begins with breakfast at Honor’s Haven, followed by testing at Monticello Motor Club. -Product displays and demonstrations will be set up both days. -Registration will be setup both days at Monticello Motor Club and on day one in the evening at Honor’s Haven. -Members will again vie for prizes, generously supplied by our sponsors and members. -Tickets will be available online or by mail starting in early summer. -We turn to the entire membership for volunteers, without whom there would be no Test Days. -Remember, this is your event...suggestions for improvements to Test Days 2011 should be referred to any of the officers and directors.

Wednesday, September 21 7:00 a.m. – Monticello Motor Club open to accept cars. 8:30 a.m. - Company representatives certify their off-road vehicles for appropriate off-road routes 9:00 a.m. Registration opens at Monticello Motor Club 10:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. - Event / testing all day 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Buffet lunch in club house 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Setup and vehicle preparation for day two at Monticello Motor Club 7:00 p.m. – Reception at Honor’s Haven, Main Lobby, 1st level 8:00 p.m. – Dinner at Honor’s Haven, Main Dinning Hall, 1st level 9:30 p.m. – Platinum Sponsor after-dinner party Main Lobby, 1st level Over night - Track will be open for car preparation and setup. Thursday, September 22 6:45 – 8:30 a.m. – Breakfast at Honor’s Haven, Main Dinning Hall for all attendees 7:00 a.m. – Pit lane opens; crews may move vehicles to designated parking spots 8:30 a.m. – Gate opens for members/registration 8:50 a.m. – Driver’s meeting out-front of Club House, in front of pit row 9:00 a.m. – Track opens for driving 11:30-12:30 p.m. – Track closed during lunch (lunch continues through 2 p.m.); corner workers move to the head of the lunch line. Members who bring their own vintage cars take a parade lap before track re-opens at 12:30 p.m. Membership votes for winner of the coveted Taylor-Constantine Trophy. 2:00 p.m. – Door prizes and awards 4:00 p.m. – Driving ends

Wednesday, September 21, 10 a.m. – Delivered in person - Give away items, raffle items and prizes must be delivered to "Donated Items" Team at Monticello Motor Club for inclusion in IMPA raffles and give aways. Note: There are tables made available on Thursday at Monticello Motor Cub in the Club House for manufacturers and IMPA Test Day participants to place branded give away items and information on tables for IMPA members.
