IMPA begins 2010 on two wheels with a January 21st presentation by Mark-Hans Richer, Harley-Davidson Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
A noon reception will be followed by lunch, Richer’s presentation and a question-and-answer session at the “usual” location, the 3 West Club, 3 West 51st Street, New York. Tickets are $35 for members, $45 for others.

Mark-Hans Richer is Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Harley-Davidson Motor Company, with primary responsibility for overseeing all marketing activities in North America including Customer Relationships and communications, Motorcycle Product Planning, the Harley-Davidson Museum, and H.O.G.
Prior to joining Harley-Davidson as Chief Marketing Officer in July, 2007, Richer served as Director of Marketing for Pontiac at General Motors, where he led development of the marketing strategy and execution of plans for all Pontiac brands. In November 2006 he was inducted into the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement for his career of high-impact, non-traditional marketing approaches. These include internationally-awarded marketing programs while at Pontiac, and prior success helping lead advertising and promotions at GMC and Chevy Trucks.
Richer also previously served as Director, Latin America for the McDonald’s account at DDB Needham Advertising and served in different roles working on such consumer goods brands as SC Johnson Wax and General Mills.
Richer was born in Milwaukee and has lived much of his life in the Midwest. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Richer is a huge Green Bay Packer football fan, as well as a motorcycle enthusiast of 22 years. He is the proud owner of a Harley-Davidson VRSCF V-Rod Muscle motorcycle.
