General Motors chief of sales and marketing Mark LaNeve will be IMPA guest speaker Thursday, May 19. LaNeve, who has risen quickly at GM, from head of the Cadillac brand, to head of marketing and advertising for all brands and now to sales and marketing chief in less than 18 months will discuss the enormous marketing and brand management challenges confronting GM as it sorts out what the world’s biggest automaker will look like by end of decade. The program begins at noon at the National Women’s Republican Club, 3 West 51st Street, New York. Tickets are $35 for members, $45 for non members.
