Tuesday, April 16 update on EV charging and the Tesla connector revolution
Automakers in 2024 are uniting behind a common EV charger-connector specification, the North American Charging Standard, NACS for short but pronounced “Tesla”. Tune in at noon Tuesday, April 16th for IMPA’s Zoom meeting with charging guru Tom Moloughney for insights.
Moloughney will explain how this move to the Tesla standard affects the next charger an EV owner will buy, whether existing home chargers can be upgraded, and how public charging points will be modified.
Moloughney is a New Jersey-based industry consultant, analyst, writer and host of the YouTube State of Charge channel. His own garage has several dozen chargers.
