Andre Hudson, IndiEV design chief on Zoom June 21

Consolidation ruled the automotive world as the 20th Century wound down as companies either merged or disappeared, while brands seemed to vanish almost monthly. Now in its third decade, the 21st Century appears more like the beginning of the last century as opposed to the end of it as numerous boutique entities rise up with new entries spurred by the rise of the electric vehicle.

On Tuesday, June 21st, Andre Hudson, head of design for IndiEV, will discuss with IMPA members his and his company’s place in this resurgence of boutique automobile enterprises. The Zoom program will begin with Hudson’s presentation at noon followed by a Q&A session.

Andre Hudson, with more than 20 years in automotive design including stints at GM, Hyundai, Icona Design, and IndiEV, has been a part of several impactful vehicles including the Chevy SSR, Cadillac Cien, and Sixteen Concepts, Saturn Sky, Icona Nucleus concept, and several vehicles that established Hyundai as a global player, most notably the award-winning 2011 “Fluidic Sculpture” Hyundai Sonata.

Please let us know if you are planning to participate in this program by RSVPing to info@impa.org (Zoom details will follow).
