Doug Betts, Nissan senior VP total customer satisfaction, to address IMPA membership at the July 20 meeting in New York

Doug Betts, Nissan senior vice president total customer satisfaction, will be the presenter at the July 20 IMPA meeting in New York. We will again be in the penthouse with the outdoor terrace at the 3 West Club, 3 West 51st Street, New York. The program commences with a noon reception followed by Betts’s presentation and a question-and-answer session. Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for all others.

Doug’s bio: Doug Betts is senior vice president, total customer satisfaction for Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA). His responsibilities include product quality, customer satisfaction of sales and service and corporate quality assurance. Betts joined NNA in September 2004 as vice president, product quality and was responsible for the quality of vehicles and components built in Nissan’s North American manufacturing operations. Prior to joining NNA, Betts was with Toyota since 1997 and was responsible for all quality-related activities, including quality engineering, supplier quality assurance and inspection operations at the automaker’s Princeton, Ind., plants. Betts also held management positions in production and quality for Michelin Tire. Betts holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech (the Georgia Institute of Technology) in Atlanta.
