Nick Scheele, president and chief operating officer of Ford Motor Co., will be the guest speaker at IMPA’s annual kickoff to the press days of the 2003 New York International Automobile Show. And with this year being Ford’s 100th anniversary, he will no doubt have plenty to tell the organization and its guests about the carmaker’s global future, as well as its historical past.
IMPA will also use the opportunity to present this year’s Ken W. Purdy award for excellence in automotive journalism.
It all takes place beginning at 8 am, Wednesday, April 16, with breakfast in the Special Events Hall on the lower level of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 11th Avenue, between 34th and 39th Streets, New York City.
On-site registration for press credentials begins at 6:30 am. Due to security concerns, a photo ID is required for credential validation.
