Tim Chaney, Kia Motor America’s marketing communications vice president, will be the speaker at the Tuesday, February 17th meeting to discuss the surging automaker’s robust 2014, its Super Bowl appearance and the launch of the revised Sorento. Kia will be the host for the meeting, covering all the costs.
The program begins with a noon reception, followed by lunch, the presentation and a question-and-answer session, all moderated by the newly elected IMPA President Scotty Reiss.

Tim Chaney is the Vice President, Marketing Communications, at Kia Motors America, Inc. (KMA). He oversees all national and regional advertising as well as experiential marketing, digital marketing, CRM, and sports and other sponsorships. Chaney joined KMA in April of 2001 as the National Advertising Manager. With more than 28 years of automotive industry experience, Chaney came to KMA from Nissan North America, where he led successive assignments on both regional and national levels in Parts & Service, Remarketing, E-Business and Advertising.
Chaney earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing at San Diego State University. He currently resides in Aliso Viejo, Calif., with his family and enjoys spending his free time playing sports, traveling, and reading up on history.
