Mike O’Driscoll, Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover N.A. president, will speak at March 16 IMPA meeting

Mike O’Driscoll, president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America. Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America, will be the speaker at the March 16 IMPA meeting.

The program begins with a reception at noon followed by lunch, O’Driscoll’s presentation and a question and answer session at the usual venue, the 3 West 51st Club, 3 West 51 Street, New York. Tickets are $35 for members, $45 for others.

The following is O’Driscoll’s biography:

Mike O’Driscoll is president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America. Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America is responsible for the marketing, sales and service of its automobiles in the United States, Canada and Mexico. O’Driscoll’s appointment was effective Sept. 1, 2001.

Prior to being named president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America, O’Driscoll was the president of Jaguar North America. O’Driscoll rejoined Jaguar in December, 1999 after four years at Ford and Lincoln Mercury where he held various senior management positions.

O’Driscoll was born in Coventry, England, and has an MBA from the University of Warwick. He joined Jaguar Rover Triumph in 1975 as a business student and held various positions in Finance, Product Development and Marketing, prior to his appointment as Marketing and Product Planning manager for Jaguar Cars North America in 1987. In 1992 he was appointed General Sales manager for the United States, a position he held until 1995.

O’Driscoll is married and has three children.
