Tickets available online for Spring Brake, May 15 at Bear Mountain State Park

No poor rhymes or platitudes about the changing seasons to announce ticket sales for this year’s Spring Brake at Bear Mountain. The annual ride and drive in the hills overlooking the Hudson River happens Thursday, May 15th and for the first time tickets are available in advance, online. A button on the home page of the Members Only section of www.impa.org will take you to a PayPal form to purchase the $65 admission. You must go through the procedure separately for each ticket you would like to purchase and we are asking for a name to go with each ticket. Buying your tickets online will ease the registration process and get you behind the wheel quicker than in the past.

If you are planning to attend, and do not mind arriving a bit early, we could use some help setting up the signs in the parking lot. If you would like further information about volunteering, please contact Mike Geylin at mgeylin@kgpr.com.

As in the past, the simple schedule is:

8 a.m. – coffee
9 a.m. – drive begins
Noon – lunch
4 p.m. – event concludes

Location:

Bear Mountain State Park – meet in the parking lot between the ice-skating rink and the merry-go-round. (GPS users: Seven Lakes Drive, Bear Mountain, New York).

There are several hotels in the area if you need over-night accommodations:
