Going green might dominate automotive media and marketing, but research by GfK Automotive shows cosumers care more about price and convenience when making purchase decisions.

Don DeVeaux, GfK managing director, will provide insights at the Octobe 21st meeting on current consumer perceptions including the consumer decision making process and how vehicle manufacturers can get consumers to consider purchasing green vehicles. This includes information about what motivates people to purchase green vehicles, how to increase awareness for the different technologies and how to remove consumer roadblocks.

Don DeVeaux Biography

Don DeVeaux is Managing Director for GfK Automotive and has more than 25 years experience in the automotive industry with significant client-side experience. He joined GfK in 2000 after more than 15 years at General Motors working in the areas of brand management, product planning, market analysis and forecasting. DeVeaux manages the GfK Automotive team which provides auto manufacturers with consumer market insight and consulting, leveraging syndicated tracking studies.
